Their new state of the art 3G pitch is finished and passed the FIFA Quality test literally one day before their last game of the year. Cutting it as fine as you’d want to go, they were top of the league and got promoted at the end of this game, which resulted in the bar running dry of Guinness!

The project was delivered in a sustainable manner, with surface water managed on site into a soakaway, and maintenance equipment supplied with rechargeable lithium battery technology.

The brief was to keep the existing spectator walling around the site which involved working the levels accordingly in the runoff area. Attention to detail by CRL was outstanding and the new fully synthetic system looks as it it’s always been there.
